Plant Tour

Thank you to ESSEX BROWNELL which will host TTA members for a plant tour on the afternoon of December 2.
Participation for the tour is limited to 60 attendees, so don't wait to register!
FACILITY OVERVIEW
Built in 1982, our 27,870-square-foot Franklin plant serves the energy and automotive markets, producing both aluminum and copper magnet wire. During the tour, you’ll follow the manufacturing process from bare wire through intermediate drawing, round and horizontal enameling ovens, and curing with enamels made by our IVA USA team in Fort Wayne, all the way to finished wire wound onto spools and ready for customers. Our tour guides will provide an overview of the plant’s products and processes and share how the magnet wire produced in Franklin supports the transformer industry.
