We are excited to announce registration is now open for the 2021 Annual Meeting of The Transformer Association!
Join us at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, in Austin, Texas, December 1-3, 2021.
An optional dinner will be held on Wednesday evening at Cooper's Oldtime Pit Bar-B-Q; the cost is $58 per person and includes a BBQ dinner buffet and soft drinks, cash bar available. TTA Speed Dating Event
This event will give Industry Supplier members and IMA Working Group members one-on-one 5-minute meetings with key personnel from Manufacturer member companies.
Speed Dating seeks to:
1) Provide Industry Supplier members and IMA Working Group
members access to key industry manufacturers
2) Provide Manufacturer members access to key industry suppliers
3) Allows members to chat about market drivers, trends and
challenges facing the industry.

Transformer Design Engineer Certification Program
A kick off of TTA's new educational series will take place Thursday, December 2, which will provide a pathway to certification from The Transformer Assocation for transformer design engineers.
Introduction to Core materials
Content of this session is intended for advanced beginner to intermediate level designers.
Materials covered include Powder cores, ferrite cores, silicon steel cores, amorphous cores, as presented by representatives from Micrometals, Fair-Rite Products, Tempel Steel, Hitachi
Topics discussed will include:
- How are the materials made
- Shapes and sizes
- When to use each material
- Frequency, temperature, etc.
- When NOT to use each material
- Features and benefits of each
The session will include presentations followed by a panel discussion with Q&A.
