2022-2023 Scholarship Opportunities
The member companies of The Transformer Association (TTA) have established an academic scholarship program for the 2022-2023 academic year to support qualified students enrolled in degree programs who have exhibited an interest in transformers or power conversion design through course work or other activities, and who might be considering a career in the transformer industry. TTA will award a scholarship based on academic merit and the applicant’s demonstrated experience and interest in the field of power conversion. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a one-time grant of $2,500, based on the review of applications and the judgment of the TTA Scholarship Committee and Board of Directors.
Scholarships are available to college undergraduate or graduate students studying in North America who will be enrolled full time for the 2022-2023 academic year in pursuit of an undergraduate or advanced degree in magnetics, electrical transformer design, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar discipline. Completed applications must be received by The Transformer Association by April 15, 2022. The TTA Scholarship Committee will then review the applications and may require telephone or personal interviews with applicants at that time. Successful applicants will be notified and scholarships awarded in May 2022. Successful applicants will also receive an expense paid trip to the Annual Meeting of The Transformer Association to be held Nov 30 - Dec 2, 2022, Myrtle Beach, NC.
