The Transformer Association (TTA) is a trade association of primarily North American transformer and inductor manufacturers, industry suppliers, safety and regulatory agencies, and consultants. Membership in The Transformer Association is corporate. All employees of Association member companies receive the benefits of membership. TTA is the voice for the industry and provides the following valuable services to its members:

- Manufacturer's Surplus Raw Materials for Sale
- Networking opportunities with our manufacturing members, industry suppliers, safety agencies, and consultants.
- Opportunities to dialogue and coordinate with safety and regulatory agencies such as UL, CSA, IEC and other standards writing bodies on all levels, including the reduction of follow-up service visits based upon past compliance, testing and field history.
- Business and technical education and training opportunities at Association meetings and specially arranged seminars.
- Industry data and trends including U.S. economic and industry conditions, best practices, benchmarking measures, and RoHS developments.
- Raw material updates on availability, cost trends, and industry advances.
- The TTA Web site, www.transformer-assn.org, provides members with the tools for continuous improvement and growth. Member company promotion and business referrals are also realized through its member company listing, product index, and surplus inventory listing.
- Industry supplier product displays and reviews, including new materials and technical advancements beneficial to the manufacture of transformers.
- Opportunities to travel to exciting meeting locations for the Association’s Spring and Fall meetings.
IMA Working Group of TTA allows magnetics manufacturers to participate in the leading association for the transformer industry.
